Over the years we have worked with many leadership teams varying in size from 3 to over 100. Our work is to enable the team to lock onto their primary task and to function well (both with one another and as leaders to the organisation). It can seem like magic when a team clicks and “gets it”, but what produces this is a solid process and careful groundwork.
In an initial briefing session with the client we ask what
outcomes you are looking for. While exploring this in some detail we create imaginative ways of conducting a meeting or workshops that will deliver the outcomes.
Typically a client is looking for a team to bond, which means people need to tell the truth to one another openly, honestly and respectfully. With these conditions in place a team can develop trust, clarity, find its passion and its purpose, and make the links needed.
We pay attention not only to content, but also to
behaviour and energy.
The Dialogue Workshop is one example of how we can work “live in the moment” with an executive team.
Few participants do not need to become more skilful in their behaviour as team members and leaders. You can scratch the surface in a single meeting and it usually requires sustained coaching, feedback and practice over time.
